From memory its about 425mm wide but need to confirm that.

And yes thongs (or so called Chinese safety boots) in a metal shop, after spending all week in boots its good to have the feet out...

About 20-21kg at the moment.
Also on the weekend have booked and paid the airline tickets to Friedrichshafen (21hr flight) :bounce: so will see you again in November to do more...

Thanks Ed, This is #1 ready for tin work and fitting of internals.
#2 is rolling no hydraulics.
#3 can roll ( the drive motors are fitted) but is last on the list.
Once #1 is running and tested...

Another trip North brings more carnage for another driver,
This was a triple Road Train of hay, the outside temperature was 43 deg and 35km South of Mount Newman in the North of Western Australia....

I also like the Stahl dozer I tried to get one not so long ago through a friend but failed, maybe in the future. When you have done your mods please share some photos.

All three dozers are at the same stage now, ready for hydraulics. We will finish one completely and iron out any bugs then finish the other two.
Work will see me away from home for a bit so work on...

The hydraulics are running at 12bar from a leimbach pump that was in my Wedico 345d. With the 16mm cylinders it has enough power for me not to be able to hold back the piston rod by hand.

Are you thinking of two power supplies?
I have a BMA on the pump already, so the pump only runs when required.
The unit still has the standard Wedico electrics as supplied, so I will...

I was thinking of putting a 14v lipo in it but not sure if the Wedico electronics can handle the extra voltage. But yes the flat ground speed is good.

No tyres slipping, running a 10 pack of aa 2700ma batteries @12volts
The reduction on the diffs are 15 to 1

I have be done the transplant, not sure if the battery needs more power to drive this motor at full potential. Here is a video of it.
