Personally i prefer REAL Heros such as our firefighterman, but to each their own.

We took it up to the Lebanon '50s Fest' meet, and overall it performed pretty well.
The soft crawler tires on front need the beads glued. The siren sounds great in the house, is...

Been hanging out a lot with jerryindy, we got a little farther. Tailboard, running boards, rubrails, reshaped the wheelwells. Shaking out old memories and and working out plans

Thanks guys, i'm glad it's starting to look better. (Heh, just wait for the diamond plate, hose beds, reels, lights...) It should get really interesting soon.

The bed uses the stock jjrc cross...

Sure i can call it a hose-wagon, but with only a couple hundred feet of 2.5" hose, i wasn't really buying it either. If he already dropped the rest of the hose at a fireground, what new emergency is...

The hose has a little more memory than i'd like, but looks pretty killer for 2.5" or...

I thought the fire hydrant came with the Texaco American LaFrance pumper. It was actually a Tonka that was found at a swapmeet, and it followed our young firefighter home to display with his Engine....
