Yard truck build out of leftover parts (mostly)

You know that feeling when you go through your parts and think "hey, there is enough here to build a truck"... yeah I thought that to lol. Most of the build is possible because I bought the wrong...

Dragline bucket was an Ebay find. I believe it was 1/150th scale and its all brass.

I do need to get those extensions. Originally that guy would not ship to Canada :cop: he was quite strict...

I did acquire 2 3:1 gear reductions that you put in between motor and transmission. I ended up waiting over...

they say it gets hot during operation. Looks good for an on-road car but not in the world of crawling dump trucks.

from my experience having both trucks there is pros and cons of each.

RWD single axle trucks are only good for on road applications. You can lock the rears but still only gets you so far. Best...

Factory is black.

Aftermarkets are aluminum coloured.

Red/Blue/Greens etc I think are from RC4WD. I have seen them on ebay to. Come blank and you have to drill/tap your own holes.
