Re: Capo 1582-2 Tatra T815-7 8x8 and Cross MC8 Man Kat 1 8x8

Great thread on the 'rebuild' Glad that I didn't splurge and buy the Capo. The Cross-RC is enough of a challenge to keep running. I have broken 2 steering knuckles already with no real...

Re: My globeliner

I would go with the stock motor before dropping down to a 23 turn motor. The stock motor should be a 27 turn motor. I run the stock motor with either a 4 to 1 reduction or 3 to 1 with absolutely no...

Re: I think I finally found the rig I wanna build.

I would start with a King Hauler cab and go from there. With a goal in mind, you could buy one or two items a month an slowly acquire the necessary parts for your build.

Re: Kenworth T880-Aluminum cab

Not having CNC machines can be a blessing at times. 8 hrs of pushing a button can make for a very BORING night:eek: I still enjoy making things where I control everything. Manual machines are nice if...

Re: 35t or silver can

Are you planning to put any gear reduction units in? This would make a big difference in what motor to use. I have the stock silver can motors in a couple of my trucks with the Integy GRU between the...

Re: I can't believe this is what I have to start with!!!

After seeing it in many pieces, you my friend are a master builder to say the least. The new interior looks much more prototypical than what you started with. Spudd is getting a work of art :D:D

Re: Carson Gear Motors

Try www.robotmarketplace.com for gearhead motors. They are not the Carson but they have a very large assortment of motors.
