Re: Australian Mack

Wow, that is a good looking cab and hood! As far Macks go, they always look tough, but this one maybe a little more so. It has an interesting arrangement for the exhaust stack.

Re: Custom Peterbuilt Dumper

Looks great John. You picked some nice goodies out for this project truck. I've got a couple of the same axles and I haven't run them yet, but they are very solidly built. The rims and tires look...

Re: MF 1155

Frank, thanks for sharing this build. I know it's been completed for a while, but I just checked your thread out now. Your conversion turned out very nice. I like the extra details you added. ...

Re: Cat 385 CL made in Italy

This is one sharp, highly detailed excavator! I like how clean the hydraulic and electronic components are laid out inside behind the access doors. Clearly it's a well thought out design. Do you...

Re: D11 New Project

It's awesome to see the ripper and hydraulics functioning. What pressure was the pump running at? Those cylinders seem to have enough power to be able to lift the rear of the dozer off it's tracks.

Re: Tamiya similar parts question

Mario, I never run servo savers on my models anymore. Most high torque servos have enough power to overload the savers anyway. I just make direct connections using home made drag links with 3mm...

Re: Tekin FX-R max input Volts

John, I was in the same boat just 6 months back. I finally decided to give LiPo batteries a shot, and now that I have, I will never probably never purchase another NiMh pack. Yes, LiPo cells do...

Re: Scania T580 8x4*4 dumptruck with krane

Wow, I missed this build back when it was current, but after finding it today, I have to say it's impressive! Lots going on with this truck and the chassis. I'm amazed you were able to fit...

Re: Volvo A40F articulated dumper

I had no idea it was all metal! Very cool! Usually the mass produced kits we see have the complex parts, like the cab and hood, made out of mold injected plastic. It's incredible to see everything...

Re: Tekin FX-R max input Volts

For what it's worth, a fully charged 3S LiPo has a nominal voltage of 12.6, and a 10 cell NiMh pack can have a nominal voltage of up to 14.5, when it's fully charged, but the voltage will drop off...

Re: Pop's Pete

Your stands are really cool. I never knew such things existed in the 1:1 world. That's a lot of weight to be supported by those stands though. I'd be nervous about working under a truck with those...

Re: Volvo A40F articulated dumper

Definitely a great looking model! It seems very well built and scale as well. No lack of traction either, climbing over the boots and weights you laid in it's path. Is the model built out of metal...

Re: DaBears Day Cab

Boy, if you didn't cut the frame, even with a lift axle, that would still put the word large, in large car! Nice work so far, Aaron! Are you going to cut out the light buckets next?

Truck looks great! Picture is backwards! Ha. The writing is going the wrong way, almost like a negative imagine, flipped around backwards.

Re: RC4WD Loader

What axles are in this model? The same ones used in the Armageddon dump truck, I assume? That's kind of what it looks like, but it's hard to tell.

Re: 777 HAUL TRUCK (1/12 size)

KP, what planetary ratio and motor did you go with for the 777? I'm just curious what you think the truck will gross out at, weight-wise, and about how much power it would take to move the load. ...
