Wish I could help you answer that one, Lou, but I can't. I don't have a CNC set-up. Obviously, closed loop has feedback, which is a big plus, but isn't there software that can compensate for...

One thing that I really like about the Sherline mill is that it's a really simple task to tram the head. Just like a miniature Bridgeport! The other square column mini mills are not so adjustable! ...
