Autodesk 123D and Tinkercad come to mind and Fusion360, although I'm not sure if that one is free or not. There are some others I'm sure. Plenty of Autodesk tutorials on YouTube to get you started...

Yes, if i had a larger printer some parts would not need to be cut up, so would mean less parts, but the same amount of time. There are few things i would change in the design if i made another one....
