Re: Komatsu 895 forwarder

Good start! Since I work for a Komatsu dealer, I'm always interested in seeing their products being modeled. We have sold only a few of the forestry machines in Kentucky (not much of a market...

Re: Clamshell Bucket Build

Nice job with the clam bucket! Being made of brass, I wondered if it would have enough weight to bite-in adequately, but looks like it's not a problem at all.

Re: IH 350B Payhauler Truck

I appreciate everyone's comments. Egronvold, the turning radius is 32" (81 cm) but the clearance radius - actual space required to turn the truck the around - is 39" (1 m).

Re: Custom Pete

Should have included in my earlier question: where did you get the springs for your air bags? Single or dual?

Thanks,

Re: IH 350B Payhauler Truck

I finally have some updates. Finished the front axle assembly and got it installed. I did a much better job on the upper and lower housing plates compared to the rear ones. Experience does help! ...

Re: Kenworth 850 Off Highway

"Wow!" just is not adequate for your truck. With the paint and low-level photos, you're just missing the engine sound and truck smells to make it the real thing. A great piece of modelling!

Travis, this truck is looking great! Really appreciate all the details. Did you make the airbags from turned plastic or something else? Very cool!

Re: Pete 379 wrecker

Really nice looking wrecker and plenty of detail. Where did you get the body door latches? Noticed they were mentioned in a couple of posts, but not where they came from.

Thanks.

Re: Can drive motor affect steering servo?

Tried the easier "fix" first and added a Radio Shack snap-on ferrite core choke on the steering servo lead. The servo uses a large, twisted wire bundle and could only install one bundle through it -...
