I kinda guessed that there probably wasn't much close to those in a scale that fits with RC Trucking. It ceriainly wasn't a common brand...

Sanding 3D printed Curvy Fenders does sound like a whole...

That's a cool transaxle part too.
I haven't seen the Bruder gator yet. I'd been thinking if i started messing with converting my Ertl 'deere gator' that i'd probably just do the rear axle as a piece...

I really like Steel toys a lot. They feel meaningful, feel more 'real', don't need as much ballast added, will easily 'win' if somebody accidently hits your truck with theirs, and hurt if you run...

I agree, a shackle delete would be the easy way to lower the truck.

It should be fun watching the modern Hydro equipment trying to load crumb rubber into my truck. Maybe 1-2 scoops...

Yeah, it is a really nice change to not have to hack apart a chassis before you can try to shoehorn things where they shouldn't go. Maybe i should do that more, or build kits?

Chassis is pretty straight forward, and there should be enough room in here to tuck in some other extra components

A bigger servo might need less...

Yeah, it was already a binary-control Toy RC. They were gonna deliver it fast & sketchy!

Planning to keep the motor, transaxle, chassis 6AA battery slot, steering axle all mostly as-is.
Rebuild...

To help lower the truck even more and bring up the spring rate, the spring eyes were stretched farther apart at frame attach...

Between the Diesel noise and Motor, there is black thing with Green(black?) / White in and White/White out. Not seeing on...

There's a...Look "Mevac''... ad with a cable hoe that has really good paint detail at front of cab.

The 1937 "Engineering News Record" ad should let you get their correct font and logos to scale...
