I usually only prime stuff that needs some light bodywork. I use regular spray paint most of the time so it sprays on thick. Too many coats add up and I lose details. My Hayes is painted with Valspar...

The KW would run the same diffs as the HDX in real life. Clark BD91000 or BD121000. Some of the trucks had Rockwell SPR570 axles but they were not common.

Thanks very much Lynn. I have a lot to learn with all of this but the brass seems fairly forgiving compared to working with aluminum all of the time. I think I would benefit from having a MAP gas...

Yes it's fairly low geared for sure. For spreading water it could be even slower but it's good enough. The worst part now is all of the slop in in the driveline. With all of the reductions and...
