Hi Sandfarmer

The 3d printer did not come with any design software.
However there is a lot out there to chose form.
I started with 123 Design free and loads of great tutorials out there for it...

For It repairs I always fine the Hammer a good option and as Jammer said 4 pound is good if all else fails threaten it with the industrial shredder I have done that a few times at work...
