bigger sprockets are a must, but cant change the flat surface as that's the bottom of the gear box.
I think I will look at another 10mm in diameter (60mm), I will see what they have...

well Im back,
had a small problem with a truck load of lightning .
basically it blew all the telephone jack points off the wall, fried the big TV and all other associated electrical things on that...

Its a big call to ditch all work and start again.

I built my rc dozer after a lot of looking here at various builds.
knowing nothing about esc,s and receivers really , spoke to Ian at firgelli...

hey Joe are you putting in supports in the tunnel, to stop cave ins.

I think if you had a high speed motor on the wire brush drums it work really well, but not dig as such, more of a clean smaller...

today I finished the painting and cleaned up the cables on the bottom arm and installed two new toggle switches on the engine cover, 1 for the lights and the other for the grinder which is fused at...

more progress but a little slow.
made more brass brackets and fitted a solid line for the cables to power the grinder, and then run out of paint......:mad::mad:

did a little more on the grinder,
I have shortened the collars on the sprockets to get them in closer to the head, and it should work better closer together.
and of course I have painted it before...

the sprockets, I think they are 15 tooth, may be 50mm diameter sprockets, the hole...

yeah, watched too many cutter head videos over the last shift.

it is a 35rpm motor box at the moment, looking at probably three times the head speed for the new set up.

I got the gearbox motor...

or gut an old PC that has water cooling and use that as a radiator/heat exchanger, that way is almost guarantied not to leak .

personally I would use a bigger tank and slow the motor down, and fit...

you could use motor bike shock oil, comes in a litre bottle and is quite cheap and about the right viscosity .

so, with the 4200 nearing being finished , I stopped working on it and started to finish the thumb for the KAT .
I used a 8mm stainless tube and slid a 5mm solid shaft inside to make a fake cylinder...
