Neil I only have a 100A sub panel in the shop I should have at least 200A . with both machines running with the spindle accel/decel time set higher (i could go more ) and the Air compressor kicking...

I program at the control . Maztrol is so darn easy it threw me off at 1st cam for a 2 axis lathe just seemed like a waste . I may be looking into a vtc 16 in the near future

My work is my play :D when I was a 13 YO yongone, my toys where real construction equipment . still have a few of them yet :)

Yep lets put it this way , I could buy a rock crusher from Premacon + a scale art RTR 963 for what I'm paying for it ;) and that is a used machine . A new 1 would be more then my mortgage .

Lynn , it sure is nice to be able to do something when your too tired to operate the lathe late at night . I've been trying to program 2 trailer frames by hand to cut on the old mill for weeks :eek:...

well the big gray old POSCNC mill was giving me such a headache I had to put it aside till I can get a control for it and have time to work on it :( . BUT 2 new pieces came and I finally got them...

yea and weighs almost as much but that lil kitty brought it in travels are 30" x 17 " y 6" z + you got the knee . I thought the vice came with it but I read wrong :( the bigger machine they got took...

the beast is in the shop :eek: now compared to the 1 the guy got that took the place of this 1 , it is small :eek: they have a tool room as big as my house with mills that are as big as my kids rooms...
