Carson steering arm

Has anyone used one of the carson cranked steering rods. It looks like you have to drill a hole, or I think they make replace ment axle arms.

Motor question

Looking at one of the Integy 55 or 65T lathe motors for my king hauler. Does anyone have any experience with these, and would it be good choice for slower speed and more torque

How does the regular clear hold up over the waterborne paint. My uneducated thought would be it wouldn't stick right or would mess up the paint

You can use PVC pipe. A couple budets have done that. Search for tamiya cowboy. He's one that comes to mind with a build or 2 that way

Found on rc4wd a bullet 3 speed trans that listed the gearing ratios. 1 and 2 gear 4wd or 6wd drive for semi. 3rd gear was only rear drives. I think it was about $100. Sorry couldn't post the link...

What is the best way to drill the holes on the tops and bottom of the frame for the cab base etc. I guess I should say to get them centered. The hole on the sides I used stock rails as template guide...

I plugged in the battery. And used a toothpick to get the wires set in the right location where the light was on and put some clear silicone on it. We ll see how it works
