Show me a good reference photo and I'd be glad to. Here in cornland, there's not a need for such large equipment. Suppose I could go up to Moline and take some photos (if they even have them there)

Definitely. Much easier to control the heat to the workpiece.

I finally bolted the A2Z CNC QCTP onto the Taig the other night. I haven't looked at what could be causing it, but the surface finish and precision was horrible. I know I had the tool height set...

I disagree. I could cake this thing in dirt, never clean it, and it still won't look like a full-scale machine. The body is made of fiberglass, that won't rust. Even if you "leave it be" you gotta...

Bah, no offense to Joe, but even his doesn't look the full-scale part when it's uncleaned. It certainly helps, but I'd like to get really detailed with the weathering.
