As I said in your introduction thread this thing looks great, love the T-cab it's such an awesome design. I'd definitely consider buying a kit/cab too. :)

So really it's more of a novelty than a necessity, but I guess that's what makes them so cool... also very impressive.
You said you are running a 4:1 reduction as well, is this a transfer case ? ...

Hi guys,
Just bought an older basic Wedico truck, with a single speed transmission.
I've always loved the idea of having 3 speeds, but I'm just wondering if it would be worth buying a Tamiya...

Thanks for that, it's a good idea. Don't want to go spending a fortune on "upgrades" only to find out they are less than compatible.

Oh for sure, I mean rather was the equipment outdated, rather than the model of Mercedes.
Anyhow, I bit the bullet and confirmed the deal. Got it for what I posted above with included freight.
