Re: Yale Forklift - NewRay

Doing proper driver training isn't as much fun (or useful to getting people into the hobby) as handing the remote to someone that's interested. If i keep at it i probably should even make a Noob-Rack...

Re: Charging jack

I would definately do a battery Master switch if there's no planned way to actually pull the battery plugs apart.
Your esc even Off will still pull some power and it can eventually destroy cells if...

Re: Charging jack

That way should work if you're talking about a Master power switch somewhere between Battery and everything else that disconnects positive lead of the battery. If you mean the switch that turns off...

Re: Kenworth K100 Build

Awesome paint job! That came out beautiful!

A little bit of that silver pinstriped onto the frame in some free hand curly shapes could really set it off

Re: Rc bus

Looks like windshield is probably only curved on 1 axis, so it should be possible to do that part with just a heatgun

Re: First attempt at lights

First idea was just cutting the power input wires about 1" long, and bridging them on the switch pcb with the solder pads where red & black wires from RX connector mount. So you keep 1 rx plug, 1...

Re: First attempt at lights

If you're good with a soldering iron, you could take the power input plug off and have those wires tie in at the board solder pads where the RX connector hooks up. That should get you to 'rx voltage'...

Re: First attempt at lights

From the 2a rating of the switch, i'd guess it's got big transistor or tiny relay. I would think you'd still need a current limiter put on there to keep the led from getting a tiny bit brighter for...
