Thanks, after getting into this build I decided to go full on and try and make it look and function well. Also have to get my aluminum welding skills some experience. (Not too good at that).

jim , only thing I have found out with dirt packing in between pads is to enlarge clearance. scale wise the pads would be about a half millimeter apart. like you said when dirt is dry it usually...
