you should find the volume of fluid that will be in the system, then find the right sized tank. If you don`t the fluid will get hot and damage the pump, etc..

Very true. There is nothing wrong with aluminum and other thin metals, but it needs to be properly re-enforced. Also with wheel loaders, the transmissions need to be reliable. At an RC construction...

very true. in this hobby, you can make the things you can`t afford or you can buy them. what looks like a couple weeks work is actually a few months,(7 at the least), or even years to make a model....

thanks. I am more of the person who likes building them. I can`t afford a lathe but I may just use a drill press. I know how the hydraulics work I am just confused with the electronics

it`s hard to find them for purchasing, but RC snow groomers are awesome! on some farms, they use snow groomers to push silage around in silos.
