So another little update:
I was trying to make a Chain Box with a print in place hinged lid but I wasnt able to get it working after 4 long attempts so I decided a change of tack was in order....

So after the discussion on here and on facebook with Bo I decided I needed to move the track rod but I didnt want to move the servo from the factory mounts.
An hour or two on CAD with the vernier...

Thanks for the tip, I assume you mean swapping the hubs on the steer axle so the track rod I'd behind the axle to make the ackermann angle correct?
What would be the best way to make the drag link...

Little more done today!
Looking for somewhere to hide a 2S Shorty Lipo so I downloaded this toolbox from Thingiverse and rescaled it.
Had some 3D Printer issues but hopefully I the next version...

Quite similar to how I set up my 1:1 truck, I normally strap a sleeper under the rear end to support the back and stop it bouncing.
