Ether old trick I used when prepping oil pans for reinstall . Never had a leaky oil pan or timing cover yet
I just can't get the same stuff I used years ago , seams to leave a bit of oily residue that I have to blow off . electrical cleaner is real good too , I just never have it when need it
ether is always on hand this time a year.
yes I may try the Vaseline in the Mack logo on the hubs , I want that to stand out a bit .
