I just started a rebuild of a pot hauler about two weeks ago as a matter of fact. It's also based on a 621E scraper but is one of only 3 ever built in a partnership with CAT. The cab is built by Cat for Kress amongst a few other components.
This is a big project for me. First time seeing and working on one. We have a 425K budget and has to be back at the steel plant for June 15th! 
Needless to say I'm gonna be busy the next few months!  
I'll make sure I get some pics as the build goes and post.

Hey Mario,
I've been in slag/steel since 1992 (Local 150 Operating Engineers), loaders, plants, dug hot pits for a while in a melt shop, drove trucks and slab haulers. Like the slab haulers best, clean, cool and warm! I have never had any ambition to run a pot hauler os slag away, very hot and dangerous work.
