Got some idea of what rim I'm doing. The size of these parts has made me think of using separate pieces combining into one. That requires me to learn how to weld alum. No spool gun . No tig, just the long line gun on the mig.
. But I did pick up a tank of argon. Luckily none of the welds will be visible and I'm going to be turning/milling them down. So what could go wrong!!! Lol!!! Thinking I really only need to to about 10" of alum weld all together. I still can't justify a tig welder,,,,,yet!!! Might change when I start pulling birdsnests out of the line feed!!!
