Default Re: Radio setup w/ hydraulic

Not much info to find out there regarding advanced mixing. Mainly used at the high end machines, which is low in numbers to the total. To mix the pump ESC towards the 3 main valve servos is optimal way to go. Some set up the mixes like the pump turns down to 20-30% rpm when none of the valves engaged to save on the battery, and then speeds up to 100% when one of the valve servos are put in action.
Other do more advanced mixes, to both save battery and also maintain a more even realistic speed of the cylinders; pump turns down to for example 20% when no valves in operation, then speeds up to 40% when 1 valve engaged, then 65% when 2 are engaged and so on. This is typically how the ready to run high end machines from like THS and Premacon are set up. A quality pump like the german 'Jung' will give so to say the same pressure running at 25% as running at 100% rpm, while cheaper brands have less efficiency and the out pressure varies more with the speed.
How to set up the exact mixes, and how advanced mixes are possible to do, depends on the radio one got at hand. I will do the mixes in the future on may excavator that's in construction, but at the moment I have not studied in detail concerning my own radio, but I'll sure get there
