A traditional module may weigh up to 6,000lbs.
My module weighs about 1/2 lb. I built an actual miniature module, but it was too heavy for the air cylinders and for the chain bed to operate. I instead made an open styrofoam square and covered it with cotton and added more cotton to the inside as needed.

http://www.sierragiant.com/ I had to modify them to the correct length. I really wanted hydraulics, but for this project, it would not have been economically sound. Down side to the air is that is that it is either up or down.
