Bumping this back up since I played around with it over the holidays:
I was using the Mu3 voltage probe. It has 3 inputs and i was only using 1.... gives room for uneeded features. I've been curious about the oil temp in the machine, I can feel a difference in how it acts after running for a few hours straight.
I'd like to add a temperture probe to the oil tank. Jeti makes a plug and play temp sensor, but that's too easy. instead i want to use a threaded thermistor. Main reason is the oil tank has no drain. The tank must be fully removed to change the oil. The huge jog at the top prevents suctioning out old oil from the fill/breather port. If I add a sensor bung really low on the back of the tank it doubles as a drain. Accessible with only removing the counterweight.
Thermisters need a curve to figure out the reading. Lua App V-sensFX allows this to be done. I approximated the curve with a quadratic formula. Temp resolution will be ~2 degrees F. Limited by the 0.1V resolution of the MU3

Made a wiring board. powered by reciever voltage that is stepped up to a regulated 14V for both the pressure transducer and the temp thermistor voltage divider. Works great on the bench. It's too big to fit where i need it. Wasn't really planned out, but started soldering stuff to a perf board. Need to make a simple PCB and really think through the fitment

Port location on the right. Need to verify there is enough room with the counterweight installed for the bung and sensor to fit. I'm still kind of scared the drill the tank since I can't get a replacement.
