@Dan: The material is a kind of plastic. It´s called polystirene (...i think. Once aigain english is not my mother language
)
The advantage is that you can mill with higher speed and the sheets itself are 1/10 of the price of brass. So it doesn´t hurt that much if you do a part over and over again. When you fix it with the right glue, it´s almost impossible to break the bond.
