The law is it needs to be at least 50 % of the length and all the way across the back . I always run it all the way down the side to me it looks better that way. You can start at the front and space it out as long as it ends at the rear and covers 50% of the side ! Hope this helps

what does the law say about the truck its self do thay have specific rules as to where the tapes have to be or does the truck not need them at all ?
