Willy , I'm trying to I made my first set 2 - 3 years ago with a dremel and my old lathe out of brass and steel . I soon as I get the bud style under control I'll be on them . They most prob be more sofisticated then JTS' . IOW , more realistic 6 spoke and 5 spoke I grew up with these so I know them well

On that note , as most of you know who have my buds ( alum or steel ) you notice they have the tubeless profile . on making these " dayton / trilex " I grew up with the tube type (PITA) and in the past 10 years got into the tubeless . what type of "doughnut " would most like ? tube type or tubeless ?
