Hey Joe, the side cutter's that I use a little bit flatter than your's, but go for it and have fun! As for teeth, I'm still scratching my head, I wonder if a split shank could be soft soldered on? With the size capscrew's on your sidecutter's, they may work for bolt on teeth like what skidesteer bucket's use.

Single sided teeth, silver solder may hold better than soft solder. I'm still trying to figure out something tougher than key stock for making teeth? Just like Karate Kid, torch on-torch off, LOL. Need more idea's, Just ask, & I'll try to help.
