Arrow Re: Anybody running one of these?

I haven't used this product myself, but I've talked to WildWilly several times and he's pretty honest. If you had any questions, you could e-mail him on his web-site.

I've also been aware of a guy named Joe who has worked on several r/c trucks over the years. If this is the same man, then his assessment of the motor is probably accurate:

Quote:
"Hello all,

I got a package in the mail from Willy Loewer of Tn, USA containing two
of his own designed 7.2v truck puller motor. I'll let him inform you of
the exact specs. I put one of these motors in my Tamiya Mammoth dump trk
last night & was just trying it out now. With the trk loaded as full as
could be (approx 30lb gvw), the motor has plenty of power to move over
the rough terrain in my dirt basement & the speed has been cut in half
from what the stock kit motor was putting out. I am quite pleased with
the performance of this motor.

This WWR trk puller motor is a definite positive as alternative to
ordering overseas from the UK for the LRP trk puller motor for slower
speeds in these Tamiya semi trks & the cost is a few dollars cheaper
too.

Cheers, Joe"
