UPDATE 4/8
Better late than never?
Well, I finally found some time last weekend to work on my truck, and I decided enough was enough. I bit the bullet, and started hacking up some styrene to fill in the sides of the hood (I say "hack", because it wasn't exactly a science, or precise!
) Anyway, I figure I can sand and putty my way out of an OCD breakdown!
Here is where I filled in the hood:
And I had to do a little mock-up! Keep in mind that this isn't how it will look when it is done, I still need to shift the front of the fenders up a bit to give it a lower position, and fit the bumper.
Finally, the aftermath of the horrific styrene-cutting sttempt!
Do any of those bits look squared? Nope.
More to come soon! I won't give any dates, because I know I can't keep it!
