Where to even start?
I really want to get some kind of a construction RC like an excavator. I own two tamiya semi trucks and I'm curious what all options there are out there to get into like 1/14 or 1/12 construction RC?
I see a lot of 100% home made but I do not have access or the knowledge to even attempt to machine anything in metal. It seems like the only options are to buy a VERY low quality Chinese toy grade construction RC or a static model and convert into RC. The next step up seems to be spending like 3-7 grand to buy one or 10 grand to make one yourself? Is there anything in the mid range like around $500 to even $1500?
