Well after this project was shelved for almost a 1 1/2 year ( it doesn't seem that long) i decided to bring it back to life.
no it's not a bruder i'm not sure of the scale but it's small, now it has a servo and battery fitted it might give you an idea of it's size
For now only the dozer will be worked on.
I have purchased a 6 channel tx to control it.
Here are a few pictures of what ive done over the last week or so.
most of the electrics installed and a new gearbox as the old one failed
a 7.2 6 aa cell battery pack fitted to the old battery access panel so i can easily drop the battery out to charge it
The sabertooth mounted to the inside of the grill
the ripper still needs a little work but over all its working nice. controlled with a servo and some linkages
The blade is proving more problematic I can't get them screw drives working nicely. They are juddery keep jamming and have no real power. so i'm toying with the idea of using a standard threaded bolt rather than a drill bit.
It will be slow but should be smooth and more powerful and as for this application speed is not to important i will try it and see what happens.
