While it's nice to have a internal reduction within the transfer case itself, if you need it, you can also run an aux. reduction box ahead of, or behind your truck's transmission too. As always, there is more then one way to get the job done. How you go about depends on the space you have available in your chassis, and what you prefer. I am also running an RC4WD Killer transfer case, and it's very nice. It looks very scale, if that matters at all to you. Other transfer cases might not look as nice. Having a 1:1 case just means you have to run a transmission with a deeper reduction, or else run some type of axu. reduction to the gearing where you want it. But as mentioned in the above posts, you can also run a different motor to slow things down as well.
