Re: Wrong Radio?
The instruction manual for the Tamiya Attack states that it includes a shift gate, and the kit for the mechanical support legs for the trailer is supposed to have a gate for the right side of the controller.
The Attack radio has switches on it that permit the servos to be reversed. The radio comes with a receiver.
Tower said that it will arrive on Thursday via UPS, so I can go back to sorting out the electronics in time for the holiday weekend.
I was surprised to find that the instructions for the Knight Hauler call for using self-tapping screws when installing the cams on trhe servos. I bought the Hitec HS-645MG's for the steering and shifting. The way the cams are installed the original screw was long enough for the steering servo, but not the shift servo.
I shortened the 2.6mm self-tapping screw so that I could use it to install the cam on the shift servo.
