Then I started on a flatbed trailer. Nothing fancy - wooden rails, wooden bed, with aluminum bits added on. No suspension - just made an alum plate to hold a pair of ebay axles/wheels/tires.
I discovered I had to hack into the front of the rails for clearance at the tractor, which killed it for me. It was a sacrificial experiment from day 1anyway, so I harvested parts and moved onto the next one with ideas to make it better.
Unfortunately I didn't photo it when it was complete.
