For a 1st time scratchbuild, the trailer look fine. Just keep adding details and the decking with some paint and it will look great. Strength versus scale can be a tricky problem. For me on a trailer, I would go for strength as you never know what you might want to haul on it. Just ask Izzy when he put dirtpusher9's dozer on his lowboy. All 150# of it. Trailer came thru with flying colors but I am not sure about Izzy
