That reminds me of a story from work a few years ago. I was working at a underground gold mine that uses a ramp for access. All man vehicles were Toyota landcrusiers all beefed up and built tough.
A couple guys were heading down the ramp, speeding along of course when a 4ft pinch bar that was laying on the road was kicked up , came through the floor board, missed the drivers leg, popped the shifter out of gear and jammed into the centre of the seat!
Our Toyota service truck was equipped with the same kind of bar as in the incident. First thing I thought when I heard about it. Check and see if ours is missing!!! Thankfully it was on the truck. Anyway, what a freak incident that could've been much worse.
