I've been working with the counterweight and it's turn out to be nightmare to make
I wish I were able to make it like Steve (ihbuilder) in one piece, but my cam program won't do 3D (I think)
I also did some welding on the counterweight with Durafix but it really does not work well when you have to brace different thicknesses together. The thinner plate tends to expand more while heating and it goes curved, and when everything cools down and shrinks, it doesn't look too good
I'm seriously thinking about buying small TIG welder, it looks like you can make very small welds with it without heating the parts too much. Been watching Reg's Kenworth 850 build and hope I can some day learn to weld that well
