What you have already looks good for a cap.. can certainly see the parting line of the welded tip from the shank itself.

FWIW , I think I was misunderstood . I merely asked if Dan was going to make a "cap" since his level of detail is literally perfect . But , now that I look at it again with my glasses on

OTOH , It looks great Dan . As for the Hardox , I might have not heard the guy right . He's a welder and sounds like he has emphysema . Couple that with someone who has 75% hearing lost
