Default MFC01 + Carson reflex radio

Hey there guys, quick one for you if you can help...

I'm running a Carson Reflex LCD Pro radio in my King Hauler, I've got a Tamiya MFC01 to go in it.
Can I run the MFC01 from that radio? Or do I need the Futaba radio??

Any help be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance guys.

The Carson web site says the radio is fully compatible with both Tamiya MFC units. Looks like it has analog style trims which is what Tamiya uses to switch between various functions of the MFC.
