Springs for King Hauler Dump

After building a King Hauler dumper, I found that it doesn't take much to get the frame down to the axles.
Has anyone upgraded the springs to be able to carry weight off the axles?

The option I chose was to get some of the 'mid pack' leafs made for the Tamiya Highlift, there are a couple of different lengths to choose from. Grind off the stock King Hauler rivots holding the stock spring pack together, add whatever Highlift springs you choose and bolt the pack back together with M2 x 4 bolt and nut. You will need to open up the hole in the lower plastic piece that sandwiches the spring pack to allow for the m2 nut to fit., put the bolt head side on the plastic piece that has the mounding for the long bolt that holds the spring packs to the frame. Works awesome and you have a good variety of spring combinations to choose from. I believe there are about 6 different length "mid leafs" offered for the Highlift truck.

You can also do a walking beam. A simple square rod with holes drilled to mount the axels....I did this on my dump trailer so that it won't lean when the box is raised.

You can also use the Tamiya single axle euro rear leaf springs. There are four leafs instead of three leafs and it really makes a difference. I have them on my F550 and that sucker has some serious payload compared to my King, Aero, and Tamiya trailers suspension

Check out post #6, You can get leafs from Tamiya/USA in various lengths for the F350 just remove the rivet on your stock spring an add what you want, replace the rivet with a bolt. I had people tell me that would be to stiff but I added 4 leafs to the steer springs on this build and was still able to stuff the tires into the fenders with a fully loaded box off road.
