Evening ladies and gentlemen

I am starting the process of elimination of a scale excavator. I would very much appreciate anybodies thoughts about a model they have experience with. Also, do they require a veteran rc enthusiast to assemble and operate. I have only built one tamiya pole trailer and one knight hauler. Want to make sure I'm not biting off more then I can handle.
