My cabin





I actually built this cabin back before getting into RC, and it had been sitting in my parents barn for atleast a decade. I was trying to fugure out what i had to take up to Lebanon, and remembered seeing some houses at Indy 2016.

It just got cleaned up, and some joints repaired.

Then i dug out some old toys and the scale stuff i'd bought for 1/10 that was too small.

That's a pretty nice camp site. I made a 1/10 cabin a few years ago and it has been out in the florida weather this whole time and it's still standing. Reason why I brought that up is because I would love to go to one of the Indy events and bring a building or something along with my rig.

I was glad for everyone that had brought their buildings to Indy 16, my truck got a lot of scale poser pictures. I was trying to share mine at Lebanon, but i wasn't able to stay that long..

I know log cabins and campsites aren't generally seen around semis or mining / contruction. It's what i have in scale. It would probably go better with a farming or logging area.

Bring it up, there's a Lebanon show in September. Or maybe january, but i havent heard. Plenty of time to get a new building done, or just started maybe it's being built and needs trucks delivering things...

I'm definitely going to try to get up there. I love building RC scale stuff from wood I gave laying around. The only thing stopping me at the moment is the logistics and my better half lol. My head is set on coming up, I just dont know when or if.

I'm going to keep my eyes open for a show date that I can plan.

I'm sure that I could whip up a distribution center of some kind. Or maybe a no tell motel haha

Hahaha. I've seen pictures of scale: gas stations, truck stops, houses, cabins, tents, barns, sheds, water towers, warehouses, fire stations, windmills, mobile home, strip club... but i've not seen a skeezy hotel yet!
Hope it has a really corney name and posts hourly rates.

I really need to scrounge up some stuff and put a chimney on the cabin. Or at least put in a window.
