Bruder wheel loader conversion
This is a journey with getting my CNC mill up and running, and converting my 574 loader to RC. I am making Aluminum parts to replace the plastic ones. I know there's a company that already does this but that's not the point. Do not expect frequent updates. First part is the link that connects to the bucket and actuator pivot thing. Hmm, bummer, this forum is outdated and does not host photos well...

Re: Bruder wheel loader conversion
lol...not out dated my friend, most actual forums don't host pictures, you need to use a third party hosting site, I use Flickr but there are several others. The cost of the server space to host photos is expensive most can't afford it....so hope you can find a way to get your pictures hosted and can stay with us.

Re: Bruder wheel loader conversion
Here is the bucket link I CNC machined a little while ago. Haven't made any other parts yet as my job keeps getting in the way.
And with all things CNC, if you can make one, making multiple parts is super easy, so here is a jig for doing the 2nd op. I'd figure I would make 10 of everything and perhaps selling the extras at a later date. And a short video https://youtu.be/xAaRr6ez1bU Last edited by WJH308; 10-17-2020 at 11:59 PM. |

That is a really nice metal piece you made there.

Re: Bruder wheel loader conversion
I broke down and bought a 574 a few days ago. It's in the pile with the other future Bruder RC conversions. I've been stocking up on them as retirement projects, that's still a couple of years away.
