Default Short box dumper for the kiddies.

Grabbed this shortened tammy chassis/Bruder cab off ebay and thought it would be a nice project to make a little dumper for the kids. Not too much going into it nor is it really going to be scale, just a fun truck to drive around and do some work. Decided to go with the Bruder box. Chopped it up and did a try fit. Also throwing in a 4:1 reduction to slow down the Tammy transmission and some BB filled TLT-1 tires/wheels on the back to get some good off road grip. Still a bit of work to do on the actuator mounting and finding a new set of front wheels/tires, but it's on it's way.

Hope so Farmer! If not, dad has another vehicle in the motor pool. Made up a quick trunion mount with some scrap aluminum and the existing bruder pivot. Base plate will also serve as a mount for the actuator. Will be a quick 4 screws and I can switch between the dumper and a tammy 5th wheel to pull a trailer if need be.

I guess they will have a lot of fun with that one!

Ok, wrapping this little sucker up. Definitely nothing real ground breaking on this, but it was fun piecing this girl together. 3 yr old daughter loves to move the dump box and the 6 yr old is looking forward to moving some dirt with it. Got the firgelli ("Actuonix" now) mounted as well as the 4:1 reduction. Have some more aggressive front tires on the way and yes, the box is staying red oxide primer. 30mm stroke gives good deflection on the box for sure. Thanks for looking in.
