i was wondering which one is better for a dump/tipper truck? i was just thinking because again i'm working on my hydraulic dump truck. and after watching about a hour of rc dump truck on youtube got wondering why there is so many screw drive dump trucks on the web?

Screw drives are way cheaper, and in most cases more powerful. Hydraulics are more scale.

S-Drives are way less cost, Hydraulics are easier to install since it's just the cylinder to mount within the linkage and the pump, reservoir and valve are remote.
