Hello all,
this kind of low loaders were built by Scheuerle/Germany since 1950. In this time, it was not able to build small tyres and therefore this construction. Normally they can carry 40 tons, but also 60 tons with lower speed. I think, this kind of loader is better for my oldtimers. I've built this a few years ago and it is very simple detailled. In the future i will reconstruct it and make it much better, because the function of the steering have problems with the weight of the big excavator. The wheels and tyres are from Wedico. The most parts are built in aluminum, some in brass. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Back and front are nearly the same and for steering there is an overcrossed chaine. I hope you can understand the construction by looking the pics ![]() ![]() Here you can watch the function: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xtelb4FRsOE In the first part of this vid, you can watch the function of the swing axles: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E6wQ37FZxik
