Hey all.
I just had a major near miss in my little work space tonight...... I was doing some wiring, prepping some magnet wire. Had a little bit too much solder on the iron and while tinning the end, the wire flicked off the iron and I felt the solder hit my cheek maybe 1/2 from my eye
Happened so fast, no burn on the cheek, just bounced off but could you imagine hot solder hitting a moist eyeball!

Safety glasses are mandatory site wide at work and I have no problem with wearing them. I use at home when drilling, cutting, hammering....you get my point. But while doing simple wiring? That magnet wire is hard enough to see without safety glasses

but.
I might have to make safety glasses mandatory in my home work space.
